Face Paint Material

I’ve been trying to create a material similar to ‘Face Pant’ from Meta Spark on Effect House, but with no success.

How can I achieve the same effect?

I haven’t tried the new custom material thing yet, but one approach would be to make a mask out of some edge detection (to preserve details like wrinkles and texture)

I got a simple edge detection effect built. It’s not a complete solution, but I’ll stash it here for now.

I have tried the built-in material but it doesn’t come as close as the one from Spark.

I’ll play with the edge detection you made and try to do something.
