Hello I faced some challenges to make the vortex effect, hope you can help
The first problem is that if we consider the 3D model of the vortex as a funnel, in fact, the handle of the funnel should not be seen and the big circle should stick to the ground.

And the next problem is its graphic effect. Unfortunately, the movement of the water is not correct in this direction and it does not rotate around the vortex, and the black part inside it is not seen naturally

For the occlusion, I would create a large plane with a small sdf circle as the mask. You can mix is with the result of the “texture projection” patch, using the camera texture.
