Earth Modeler recently dropped a crazy update as it is now possible to import 3D Google Earth (City/Terrain) in Blender with just one click. See video below.
The applications for this obviously are numerous but it feels like an amazing workflow for the AR creators out there willing to insert custom 3D geometry within Google Earth 3D before calling that scene from Google Geospatial API.
